safari-style tented villas nestled in the island’s lush interior jungle. The nine kilometer-long house reef is directly accessible from the beach.

Copper bathroom fittings and carved wood detailing on furniture lend the villas a bohemian rustic chic vibe. The unique tented jungle villas offer privacy while other guests can also experience the island interiors with glamping, BBQs or jungle cinema.

Dining includes an international all-day dining spot called Raha Market; an over-water Japanese restaurant, sushi bar and lounge named Kata, and the over-water fine dining destination, Azure where fresh seafood and fish-market displays of daily local catches are complemented by fantastic wines and Champagnes. At the all-bamboo Onu Onu, loungers and fire pits add to the laid-back poolside atmosphere, while sunsets are best enjoyed with a sun-downer at the Kata Rooftop Bar and lounge that overlooks the entire western side of the island.

Overall the place the activities the food the service everything was perfection at it’s finest we really enjoyed and def
The service was perfect and special thanks to Mahmoud our host he was really really helpful and made our honeymoon experience at fairmont perfect. Everything was smooth and easy from check in to check out. The food was amazing Raha buffet, Kata, and BBQ menu for the destination dinner was delicious. Unfortunately we didn’t try Azure restaurant but I’m sure its nothing less than perfect!
The privacy of the overwater villas as Arab we care a lot about it and unfortunately if any other guests takes a swim in the ocean they can see who is in the next door villa. And some guests do not care about privacy at all and you can find them snorkeling in your supposed to be private villa. Also if you want to book an overwater villa choose the sunset villas as the ocean there is more calm and you can swim the sunrise side is always windy and the waves are high and scary.

Wonderful, friendly, beautiful, delicious, serene, peaceful, paradise!
Amazing food, beautiful rooms! (Depending on which one you’re given, the quality of the beach in front will vary a lot, sunrise is not that nice, rocky and yellow flag conditions all the time. However sunset villas - wow! What a difference! It’s calm and beautiful, some villas have their own private patch of beach, some don’t! (Ours did we were lucky) The food was amazing! In particular we liked Asian night. I wouldn’t bother going to the Japanese restaurant but the sea food restaurant is lovely and worth a visit. The island is not too big not too small. Felt like we had our own private island sometimes! Vibe was good. We travelled with a 2 year old and he adored Kay in kids club! We also went diving and got lucky with an eagle ray! The house reef is on the doorstep and really quite lovely - no need to go lower than 12 m either!
The spa! Don’t bother! It’s not a luxury spa by any means! Very disappointing. No sea view either which seemed like a missed opportunity here by the fairmont! Very basic. The massage itself - 2/10 and eye watering expensive ($500+ usd for a one hour couple massage)! That was the only let down for us.

Almost perfect
The villas were super stylish and clean and very spacious. The staff were super friendly and great music and atmosphere.
Bills do not include service and GST charge, which is about 26% more than the advertised price and that’s a very sneaky and not very nice way to charge a customer.
